Why Bluffview
Bluffview families tend to want the same thing from a session: photographs that feel like their home and their kids, not a studio. Hilly, tree-filled lots and real family homes make that easy to deliver.
I photograph newborn, maternity and family sessions for Bluffview families, mostly at home and sometimes outdoors at golden hour. I give gentle direction and leave room for the real moments.

Newborn and maternity at home
For newborns and maternity, home is usually the best place. Baby is calm, you are comfortable, and the window light in a nursery or bedroom is hard to beat. I work around naps and feedings and keep it unhurried.
See in-home newborn sessions for how it works, and maternity sessions for what to expect. Maternity is best between 28 and 34 weeks.
Outdoors
If you would rather be outside, Bachman Lake Park sits on Bluffview’s eastern edge with water views and a trail, and the Bachman Creek Greenbelt runs through the northwest part of the neighborhood. We choose the spot together based on your light and your kids.
Investment
In-home newborn sessions are $800. Maternity begins at $750. The First Chapter pairs a maternity session with an in-home newborn session for $1,350. The Portrait Experience for families begins at $750 and runs about 90 minutes. A signed agreement and a 50% reservation fee hold your date.
