Why I shoot here

If you're drawn to warm, sun-drenched images — tall grass, mature trees, big Texas sky — the trails and fields around White Rock Lake are the perfect setting. This is where Dallas golden hour does its best work.

I shot Jack & Chloe's engagement finale here for a reason: the light comes across the water low and gold, the grass catches it, and everything looks like the end of a good summer day. It's the most naturally 'documentary' location in the city — nothing manicured, everything honest.
